Although wine tasting is a popular past time for many, most of us do not record our tastings regularly. This is a shame because our senses can only become more accurate when we have recorded experiences to judge them against. Pocket Taste Pro helps to automate the process of taking good wine tasting notes, that?s it, plain and simple. Pocket Taste focuses strictly on the tasting experience.

Many other packages promise you thousands of tasting notes included with their packages. We include none.

What we do include is the ability for you to quickly and easily create your own tasting notes so that you can taste, purchase and track your wine tasting experience. To accomplish this we provide you with a proven step by step process which encompasses the latest tasting "best practices" such as those derived from the wildly popular UC Davis Wine Wheel and the slightly less known but invaluable Mouthfeel Wheel. Also included is a colour reference screen, as well as the ability to record your impressions about food pairings. For those doing blind tastings either at Home, "the Wine Club", or professionally, Pocket Taste Pro also features the ability to record your assumptions about geographic origins of the wine, such as Hot, Temperate, or cool climates, country, and region.

Pocket taste Pro can even record your tasting by adding your tasting notes to your built in Palm Calendar which can be used to synchronize with the Palm desktop or your desktop calendar, and/or you can even add reminders in the built in To-Do list, so that you never forget to purchase a wine you have enjoyed.

For the Professional Taster/Wine Writer or Reviewer, your tasting notes can go directly into your favorite desktop Publishing program, Word Processor or even email!
